My last post was about craving actually seeing ICTs in action within the classroom rather than just discussing why it should be done. Part of this craving has been satisfied through a post by Rossco pointing to a clip on knowledge building with ICT in Switzerland.
It was great to see the specific use of a number of ICTs in this classroom. I like the way the discussion is realistic in terms of availability of ICTs in the classroom and how this impacts planning.
The main point that struck me from this clip was the engagement and interaction of the students throughout the lessons. The ICTs allowed for this as well as allowing for sharing of and discussion of ideas and work – building on each others knowledge.
